There's something that's always fascinated me about India, despite being born here. A country so culturally and naturally diverse, that it is possible to feel alien going from one region to another. You can just imagine my emotions from when I, a city-dweller, visited Asantaliya, a village surrounded by the vast forestlands of Jharkhand.

Visiting Yamuna Ghat in the winters is an experience. There's something about the air there, as polluted as Delhi may be, that feels different. Or it could be the migratory, Siberian Seagulls soaring across the waters and the sky. But a chance encounter here with a pack of wild Indian Pariah Dogs leaves a lasting impact on my wife and I.
